Our yard looking so peaceful and serene with the snow.
The tradition with my husband's family is we get together on Christmas Eve and have an "appetizer"meal . Everyone brings various appetizers and we just snack and spend time together and give the kids their gifts. Since my husband and I could not join everyone due to the icy roads we had our own little appetizer dinner and spent time together with our boys. My veggie Christmas tree came out quite cute.

Stopping by from SITS! We had one also! Good for you! We got the big blizzard of '09 the weekend before Christmas, which made it white for us! Gorgeous, isnt it? Glad you got to experience it! :)
Had my one and only white christmas last year! It was the best!!!
Stopping by from SITS! Have a great Monday!
Visiting via SITS and I am so jealous. Here in far SE Texas we did not see snow :( on the ground but it was fun to see a few flakes falling on Christmas eve! Love the photos.

Looks like you had a wonderful white Christmas in Dallas...
Visiting from SITS...Happy New Year!
How wonderful to have had a white Christmas! And I love your idea of an appetizer Christmas Eve! We just had a new year's eve party and I almost did the appetizer/dessert menu, but then opted for adding lasagna, sausage & salad as well. We were all stuffed to the gills. Note to self: Next year apps only!
Thanks for swinging by my blog on Monday for my SITS day. I'm using this day visit all of my visitors (and I suspect it will take the better part of the day to reach everyone!)
Happy New Year!
Lauren
